Autumn is a much prettier name for such a very pretty season. It’s our favorite. 🙂
Morning Miss Harper. Looking pretty as always – you blend right in with that wheat with your wheat colored hair!
Thank you so much. Maybe that should be my new hiding spot–perfect for sneaking up on squirrels!
Oh Miss Harper, you look like you have been busy 😀 and mighty pleased with yourself too!
I had just spent a few minutes playing in my neighborhood park and sliding down the kiddy slide, so I was quite busy and quite pleased with the fun I had. 🙂
You slide down a kiddy slide! Wow. That’s an achievement to me because Donna is too scared to do that 😛
I didn’t say I liked sliding down the kiddy slide. My humans convinced me to do it once, and I think that will be enough. 😉
😀 I see I thought you liked it since it was a fun day for you :p
It was fun because I only had to do it once. More than once and it would not have bee a fun day. 😉
Yeah! we love fall!!
I think it’s the best time of the year . . . our reward for making through another miserably hot summer!
Beautiful! It’s really looking like fall here too.
While certain little spots here are looking like fall, I am afraid that we are a few weeks away from feeling like fall . . . but we can pretend. 🙂
You look gorgeous today Miss Harper Lee! I can’t believe it’s almost fall!! Happy B&W Sunday.
Happy Black and White Sunday to you, too! I am super excited about the arrival of fall . . . cooler and less humid weather. Yes!
Lovely as alway Miss Harper!
Thank you! You made my Black and White Sunday. 🙂
Nice picture all sunny! Can’t wait for fall too! Love Dolly
Thank you. I have to admit that while this photo looks like fall, it doesn’t quite yet feel like fall here . . . but a girl can dream. 😉
It’s been feeling like Fall here in New England too! Has your weather been a little more tolerable down there also? I don’t know though, the way your tongue is hanging out, it looks like it might still be hot! 🙂
You are an excellent detective. Yes, my very long tongue tells the true story: It is still pretty miserably hot here, but we are hoping that this is almost the end . . . please!
That is a beautiful picture!
Thank you so much. I think I almost look like a hunting dog. 😉
You look lovely, Miss Harper. Do you have a favorite season?
Fall is by far my very favorite season. I live in South Louisiana, so we have pretty miserably hot and humid summers and then toward the end of summer we have to worry about hurricanes. The arrival of fall means that we have survived another summer and another hurricane season, and it also means that I get to start joining my humans for patio dining at our local restaurants. 🙂
you look so lovely xx
Thank you! With your lovely fur coat, I’ll bet you welcome the arrival of autumn, too. 🙂
Love the sepia coloring on this one. Perfect for fall. It’s been feeling like fall here too. Dry weather, little rain and lots of leaves falling and changing color already. Hope you enjoy the fall!
My mommy thought the sepia made it feel really fall-like, too. I definitely plan on enjoying my time this fall, and I hope you will, too!
Gorgeous. I love fall, and am ready for it. Boots, sweaters, chili, a renewed zest in my pups.
Those are the exact same reasons that my mommy I so excited about the arrival of fall. It’s the best season of all!
What a big happy smile!
Sam
Always! hope this beautiful Black and White Sunday brought smiles to you, too!
So ready for the fall to be here! I bet you can’t wait for a little cooler weather too! Great picture!
I’m super ready for fall. It’s not easy being a dog in the summertime!
OMD!! Gurl that is one big tongue you gots there!!! I bets you were doin’ some zoomies or somethin’, huh?! BOL
Beautifuls as always….
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Ha ha . . . the background says fall but my tongue says summer! Mommy tried to make the photo look like a pretty, cool fall day, but she can’t fool me. 🙂
Oh, I love the fall! I fear we are still in for our hottest weather of the year here. We had such a mild summer. We’ll pay in September!
I’m afraid that we are still in summer, too. Fall doesn’t really visit us until late September, but a girl can dream, right?
Beautiful photo Miss Harper Lee. Perfect effect too. Our wonderful mild winter is almost over. I’m hoping our spring isn’t horrible to make up for all the spring-like weather we’ve had the past month.
Thank you! I’m keeping my paws crossed that your spring is lovely and your summer is mild!
Arooooroooootiful Miss HL!!
🙂
What a beautiful photo.
Thank you. Hope your Black and White Sunday was beautiful and your week is off to a great start!
You look so happy with your Sunday.
Sweet William The Scot
I’m a Golden Retriever, so I’m happy with pretty much every day, but Sundays are extra special. 🙂
Fall compliments the Golden fur quite nicely. 🙂
Maybe that’s why it’s my favorite season. 🙂
I’m guessing your winter stays pretty mild there. Is it much different than fall?
Our fall is very beautiful–comfortably cool temperatures and low humidity and usually pretty dry. Winter isn’t unbearably cold (we may freeze 10 days at the most and they’re scattered throughout the season) but it can at times be pretty rainy and gloomy. But we really can’t complain . . . or at least we shouldn’t. 😉
Miss Harper Lee, “if you wag it, they will come”! 😉 I’m sorry…I couldn’t resist! Such a beautiful picture, as always!
Thank you!
You are a heart-throb in black and white on Sunday or any other day, Miss Harper Lee. Paw Snaps and Twirls to you from Casa de Canterbury…:)
I will happily accept your Paw Snaps and Twirls. Thank you!
Where I live it doesn’t look like fall yet, but I can’t wait! I’m tired of all the heat!
I must admit that the photo was a bit of a stretch. I live in South Louisiana where our temps are still in the mid-90s and it won’t really look or feel like fall until October . . . but a girl can dream. 😉
