My daddy is usually out of town for work during the week, but when he’s home on the weekends we share a nanner every single morning. It’s our special father-daughter time!
It seems like almost every dog I know likes bananas… except my own, Boomer and Dottie always spit them out!
I’m like that with carrots. Most dogs I know love them, but I spit them out in tiny little pieces. Not a fun clean-up for Mommy, but she keeps trying to get me to like them!

Ok, ok, Miss Harper Lee – you have just dropped a notch on my Fabulous Miss Harper Lee scale. Seriously, girl – I know that ain’t no banana you’re eating right in front of the whole blogosphere??!! Geez Louise. We never seen nary a dog eat a nanner in Texas OR South Carolina. Whoa Nellie!! 🙂

Oh, you can’t imagine the number of times Mommy had to say “Leave it!” just to get a few pictures. And did you notice that half the banana is missing? I did that. 😉
I haven’t tried giving the dogs bananas (that I can recall)… but that’s maybe because I’m not a huge fan of them myself! (Not just on their own, anyway.)
My mommy’s not a huge fan of them either, so my daddy is my banana supplier. Love my daddy!

OMD!! I LOVES me some nanners!!! I will not let Ma eat the last part of her nanner…that is MINE!!! She always gives me the last inch or so of her nanner, she knows if she doesn’t, I’ll pee in her shoe! BOL

So I wonder why politicians and world leaders haven’t thought of that tactic to get their way? But I digress. I usually get the first part of the nanner when I’m sharing with my daddy. It’s not as gross as it sounds. He bites it off and then gives it to me. That way I’ll leave him alone, sort of. 😉
Frankie is very boring in the food department (but that’s about the only department he’s boring in!), Beryl is more adventurous but neither of them will look at anything that is a fruit or vegetable. Oh well, all the more for me 🙂
