Oh gorgeous girl..Spring isn’t here..but it is almost Autumn/Fall for us…so we will send summer packing and have an Autumn then you can have a spring then your summer…confused ? I am hugs Fozziemum x
Oh, Fozziemum, my mommy gets totally confused by that whole hemisphere and dateline thing. A science and math whiz she is not!
Me either sweets…not a clue what’s up or down 😉
I second that sentiment! Though it looks like she’s anticipating something on the horizon! Hopefully that’s what it is!
It’s either spring or busy little squirrels. The fact that they are still burying things leads me to believe that they know a little something about our delayed spring. 🙂
AMEN! Where is Spring? I need them *now*. XOXO – Bacon
We’ve just had more rain and dropping temperatures. Make it stop! But we are thankful for today’s sunshine and Mommy plans to force the appearance of spring by going to the nursery today to buy something–anything–that looks like spring!
Yep – nods piggy head. Our temps are in the 20’s today. That’s disgusting. I am so *done* with winter. I want my spring. It makes me feisty and want to run. Winter makes me want to hibernate and only come out for food… or to talk to you 🙂 XOXO – Bacon
I would like to know that also pretty girl. Have a great day.
Today is looking a little better . . . still below-normal temps, but at least the sky is blue. Hope the blue skies come to visit you too!
Soon, very very soon.
Oh, I know. And then, before you know it, I’ll be complaining about the heat. 😉
Such a great photo! I love that chair, wishing I was lounging in some warm weather right now!
Thank you. Mommy went a little crazy with the spray paint last spring. 🙂
We’re wondering the same thing!!
We spotted the first azalea blooms in the garden today, so there’s hope!
I’ll tell ya, about 4 weeks away
I’m starting the countdown right this minute. 😉
Did you get an answer Harper??
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Saw a pretty little lady bug on my walk today. I’ll take that as a sign from Mother Nature!
My sisters and I have been digging and digging in the snow looking for spring but we just can’t find it! Way too cold and too much snow. Most likely everyone will be complaining of heat before we know it but now…no spring in sight at our house.
Ha ha! I think winter really buried spring very, very deep this year!
Oh, we want to know the same thing, if you find it will you please share it with us? That is a fantastic picture! Hugs and nose kisses
I promise that if spring gets here first, I will be very willing to share. 🙂
I think we all feel that way. Especially this winter.
This winter has really been a doozy. Maybe that means that Mother Nature will go easy on us this summer. We can dream, right?
It’s coming, it’s coming! Until then, you look lovely on that blue chair!
I’ve enjoyed lounging on these chairs since I was a tiny puppy . . . and since before they were blue!
We are starting to prepare for spring down here, just bought a bunch of plants and herbs and are thinking of rearranging the backyard. Can’t wait til it’s officially here! 😀
We’ve had so much rain lately, that Mommy would need waders to go out into the yard, but she does plan to go to the nursery today to get some pretty plants for the porch and patio pots. Maybe Mother Nature will get the hint from that gentle little nudge. 😉
We know exactly how you feel, Miss Lee.
We know we have absolutely no right to complain about this winter when so many other humans, dogs, cats, etc., have had it so much worse than we have. But since when did that ever stop humans from complaining? 🙂
She is so beautiful! It has been in the 70s here but it turned really cold (for Louisiana) overnight! BRRR! My jonquils are blooming though so here’s hoping!
Mother Nature has been a bit of tease lately–giving us a few really pretty days and then pounding us with rain and bringing the cold temperatures back. Hopefully this last little winter blast will be the last. Paws crossed!
Oh Miss Harper Lee, that look says it all!! We are wondering the same thing at Casa de Canterbury…:)
We’re all a little mopey around here with this yucky weather. It’s time for warmer days, sunny skies, and refreshing cocktails. Well, I guess we’ll just have to settle for cocktails. 😉
Such a beautiful, dignified girl. And I also want to know where Spring is!
You are so sweet to say that I’m beautiful and dignified, even as I whine about the weather. 😉 Hopefully spring is just around the corner for all of us!
Gorgeous photo! You are definitely not the only one would would like spring to get here now. I have had quite enough of all of the “polar vortex” stuff that has been happening this winter.
Note: Playful Kitty has moved to http://www.playfulkitty.net . You can still follow using your WordPress.com reader, but you need to stop by and click the little blue button on the side bar. Thank you!
Thank you! Yes, enough of the “polar vortex” and enough of the named winter storms. Bring on spring!
What a great photo! So focused!
Thank you! It’s a little hard to tell whether I was focused or frozen. 🙂
I think we skipped spring and went right into summer – although they tell us it will cool down again this weekend.
Monty and Harlow
It seems as if we usually skip spring and go straight to summer when we have a really bad winter. Sure hope that won’t be the case this year. 🙂
I’m waiting for Spring too! Hope our wish will come true soon!
We had a hint of spring a couple of days ago, but today ice covers all the leaves and branches in our back yard. Crazy!
We are asking the same thing!
Today we’re having yet another round of freezing rain and closed interstates. This is really crazy!
