Today–March 17, 2014–is my fifth birthday.
It seems like just yesterday that my humans and I met for the first time, and then a few weeks later I joined them in my new home. None of us had any idea at that point how much we would all love each other five years later.
When I blow out the candles on my birthday cake, I will wish for many, many, many more years . . . and I have a feeling my humans will be making the same wish.
