Harper Lee from A to Z: S is for STETSON

So, I have given up on my aspirations of becoming a beauty queen, and I have decided that I would like to be a cowgirl. Let’s start at the top. Every good cowgirl needs a good hat, and what better hat could there possibly be than a Stetson. A Stetson has a nice wide brim to protect my head from the rain and shield my eyes from the sun.
The high crown of my pretty pink Stetson would make me look like I was really riding tall in the saddle. Just imagine how fabulous I would look on the back of a pony. I even have a pony friend named Penny. If you haven’t met Penny yet, you can click here to read all about her. Penny lives just around the corner from me, and I just know that she would be more than willing to hit the trail with me when I become a cowgirl.
Now that I have a Stetson and a pony, there’s just one more thing that I need to become a real-life cowgirl. Do you have any idea where I can find four matching pink cowgirl boots in my size?

Don’t you think cowgirls have much more fun than beauty queens? Besides, you’re a beauty in your pink stetson! Cowgirl boots? They could be a problem. Think custom made is the way to go.
I think you’re on to something. Cowgirls get to be outside and play with animals. That seems like the way to go to me!
