Black and White Sunday: Marathon Cheer

B&W 1-18-15 thek9harperlee

I spent the morning cheering for all the humans running the Louisiana Marathon.

Good job, runners!

My herding dogs would want to do more than cheer 😉

I reckon there can’t be much better than a golden retriever cheer 🙂

  4. Jan K says:

I bet they were very encouraged as you were cheering them on, Miss Lee, good job!

    • They did, especially the people who were, how should I say this, not so fast. 😉 You could see that they were probably hurting a bit and possibly questioning their decision to do such a silly thing, but you could see their eyes light up when they saw me. One lady even said, “I could use some Golden Retriever love right now,” and came over for a hug.

  6. LB Johnson says:

I am sure the runners appreciated your support. Paws and Kisses.

  7. You are a great cheerleader! Did you also get to do some running?

  8. Emmadog says:

We didn’t even get to go and cheer when Mom ran her last one. We had to wait at home 😦

  9. Did the run go through your neighborhood? That is so cool that you could watch!

    • Yes! It’s so much fun. This is the fourth year and our house is a little more than halfway through the route. My human daddy is a marathoner, but this one he skips so he and Mommy can cheer together . . . with me, of course. 🙂
