We feel the same way and are counting the days until we get our first snow!
Hang in there. It may be a while until that happens. 🙂 We just want to see our daily low drop below 80 degrees. Summer is hard on girls with fur coats . . . and their humans. 🙂

We’ve asked the humans for a summer house in Maine, but there was a lot of grumbling about the cost of vet trips, treats, doggy day care, special healthy food, grooming . . . so we think we’ll just have to endure this miserableness for a couple more months. Uugghh!
I know! Isn’t it miserable? Maine is beautiful. Now my mommy is craving a real lobster roll that you can only get from there. Snorts. XOXO – Bacon

There is no getting used to the Louisiana heat and humidity!
Is it getting worse, or is Mommy just getting older? 😉 As much as she complains, she’ll take heat over hurricanes any day, but she’s still going to complain. 🙂
It’s almost the same here. I would just like to be able to sit out on the patio again…down to 80 would be good.
Oh, to sit out on the patio. When it finally does cool down, we eat outside almost every night. Maybe by mid-October. 😦

We live for autumn. The temperatures finally cool down and we breathe a sigh of relief that hurricane season is over.
Since I’m land-locked a king says from the ocean, I’m afraid that hurricane season didn’t enter my mind. I’m sure it’s on your mind a lot, though. Here’s to Fall!

I agree!!! It gets so hot at night too I can’t sleep and I keep my humom up from my heavy panting! The only saving grace is the water here is super cold so my humom takes me to the dog beach to cool off.
Even our beach water feels like bath water right now. Yuck! Keep posting pictures of you playing in that cold water. We’ll be vicariously cool with you. 🙂

The humidity is the worst!
Definitely! Here’s our daily dilemma: walk really early in the morning before the sun is so strong but the humidity if beyond miserable, or wait until the humidity drops a bit but the sun is blazing. Talk about a lose-lose situation.
We’re with you. There have been loads of HBO words here. It was 98F two days ago and you can use your imagination as to what the F stands for if you’re not into the metric system. 😆
Haha! I think we all get a pass on the HBO words when we’re sweating our %&*(I%&)())%$$# off. 🙂

I hate that we don’t have a proper summer – just rainy & cool with the odd warm day. We humans are never happy!!!
Mommy spends all summer promising that when winter finally gets here she won’t complain about the cold. And then she spends all winter promising that when summer gets here she won’t complain about the heat. Those humans are hard to please. 😉
OMD I LOVE THIS!! Yes, I am NOT a fan of summer at all! Can’t leave soon enough for us!

Same sort of weather here, too! My guys pretty much refuse to walk. They say they will hold it until fall 😉
My little sister is definitely in their camp. She goes about half a block, slams on the breaks, and then refuses to go anywhere but back into the air conditioning. She’s looking into temporary adoption with a family in Maine. 😉
For me – the hotter the better. For Mom, not so much…

I think Misha would love to trade places with you. Today it was 80F in the house and she was under her dog blanket in the living room.
I’m with you though.
We had a terrier mix who worshipped the sun, no matter what the temperature. I swear I heard her sizzle once. 😉
I don’t like summer either! When Buffy and Chipper get hot I shave their fur and it keeps the cooler. I also put a box fan on the floor which keeps them cooler.
Our first Golden, Talbot, used to love to sleep on the A/C floor registers. She was quite comfortable. The humans? Not so much. 🙂

We’ve been having a cool and rainy summer so far, so we’d like to trade with you! Or maybe we could combine our weather and come up with something perfect right in the middle! 🙂
I like the idea of combining our weather to make the perfect climate. Until then will just try to blow some of our heat your way. 😉
LOL!! Poor Summer, we used to all love her so… until she started losing her mind, right!? 90 degrees & humid on Long Island NY is simply wrong, it’s just Wrong! I look so forward to early Fall & the cool weather. Adorable photo!
